Mystery Ranch Selway

I just purchased a Mystery Ranch Selway and the shoulder straps seem to be pinching into the side of me more than the Marshall I had (bottom sides of my chest), I see that the shoulder strap tapers down to be pretty thin towards the end of the shoulder strap. Was wondering if anyone has done any mods to combat this or have any suggestions about it...

I have the selway as well. The only thing I can suggest is cinching up your waist belt up on your hip bones to get the extra weight off your shoulders which may help. Also just tightening up the small horizontal chest strap as well to bring the shoulder straps closer together away from your outside chest area.
