N568 instead of Retumbo

I have been preparing for the 2024 election year and if it is like the past 2 election cycles, reloading components are going to get scarce soon. Some states are even proposing excise taxes (Washington state) on all gun related items.
Powder wise, I have been running some Vihtavouri magnum burn rate powders lately since they are the most readily available, given Retumbo and H1000 are like "unobtanium."
Running N568 as alternate to Retumbo
Running N565 as alternate to RL 26 and H1000 in a pinch

Burn rates are right in that group and FPS is within 20-30 per rifle when compared to Retumbo. Sharing as a good alternative if you need it.

Thanks for the heads up.
Midsouth just had Retumbo and it’s available straight from hodgdon. They should include lube for the price they’re asking.

Powder Valley has H1000 right now.

Retumbo is out of stock at Midsouth as of 10:15 am. They did have H1000 though.
