Native vol vs Guide Lid vol?

Quick question for ya'll on the Native sizing. I need to order a lid to go with a Reckoning pack. I've had the guide lid (sold it), and it worked great. Considering the new Native. The Kifaru web site specs show the Guide Lid (1,200ci), just slightly bigger than the Native (1,100ci). But in the pictures I've seen, the native looks much bigger.

Anyone have both or could confirm sizing?

I get the native has a sleeker design for carrying as a final approach pack, but 90% of the time what ever I buy will live on the frame. If the native is 2x the cost, but slightly smaller, I will probably get the Guide Lid. If the Native is actually bigger or allows for better packing, then it would sway my thoughts.

i agree that the native looks like it would be bigger than the guide lid but i asked the same thing on the kifaru forum and they confirmed that 1,100 is accurate.

I believe the guide lid is wider and deeper. Native is long, narrow and skinny.

I would go with the guide lid. It has straps so you can use it for a day pack if you choose. ( I never do, it's always attached to my main bag ). The native looks like a backpack piggybacking on another backpack.
