Need help/thoughts on Kuiu Hip Belt

Has anyone ever tried/successfully completed changing the hip belt on the Kuiu to say a Kifaru Duplex or SG Hip Belts? The Hip belt is my only problem with the Kuiu pack so I was just curious if any of y'all had any thoughts!

Are you guys running the newest style hip belts or older ones? the reason I ask is I had mine replaced last year after breaking it and I will say I feel the newer one is much improved.

I believe mine is the older one. Brother just purchased a new one. Have to check it out.
