need info on garmin 66i

I want a gps that has satellite communication and can use onx maps. It says on there website that the 66i supports onx maps but then farther down it says no inreach devices are compatible. Does anyone have any first hand knowledge of this unit and in this capacity.

It takes OnX Chips. I have one it works great.
