Need rifle help

I currently have a Remington 700 classic in 375 H&H I don't really shoot it that much as I have no need for 375 however I was considering building a 338 edge on it. Does anybody know if that would fit? Or would it be better off building a different at 338 on it or leave it as a 375?

I would leave it as is and build another rifle in whatever 338 you want to do.

The Classics retain their value fairly well. I agree with Aviator in his suggestion of building a separate 338. I would think that a guy could find a 300 Ultra relatively cheap and build from there. Might be something to sell the 375 and use the $$ for the donor rifle or the build.
