I recently purchased a Sako S20 that I need a scope for. I will be using the gun to hunt deer in the Southeast and Midwest. I am going elk hunting next fall in Colorado. It will be used for deer in open fields and wooded areas 95% of the time. The farthest shots I will take will be 400 yards. I really like the Zeiss Conquest V4 in 6x24x50. I looked thru the scope at Cabela's at a deer at 25 yards and on 6 power it seemed just fine. Is this too much scope or is it okay for what I want to do?
