Hey all,
I drew my first out of state permit for archery deer and have put in the hours e-scouting. I plan to put boots on the ground in mid-July. My question is does anyone have any info/comments on Deer Creek Peak or Parrot Peak area? Or, am I better off starting over by the Trout Creek Drainage?

I also have an area on Bloody Run Peak I want to look over.

Of course, any and all help is appreciated. I will be on foot, no atv or side by side, am not afraid to put on a few miles.

I think that Bloody Run is a waste of your time, as there are few deer. You'll be better off in the main Jackson Mtns, north of the Trout Cr Rd, exactly as the hunter info sheet says. Many drainages on the north and west sides have good habitat, but require walking to hunt them well.

Pueblo, thanks a bunch. You saved me at least one full day of scouting.
