I bought a Sig in .308 last year and I just couldn’t shoot well with over the counter ammo to less than 1” at 100 yards (I am spoiled with my 25-06 and 300wsm I guess) I tried Hornady, Remington, Winchester and PPU. 150gr. 165gr. 180gr.

During Thanksgiving weekend I got notified that IBI from Canada was running a sale on their barrels and I ordered one for the Sig, it’s a carbon 20”.

I had Karl Kampfeld here in Sandpoint ID install the pre-fit barrel for me.

I need to put the scope back on and can’t wait to try it, will report back.

Nice! Did you stick with .308? How much did the barrel cost you? Are these a regularly stocked item or special run?

Sticking with .308
Looks like a regular stocked item and it was 25% off Thanksgiving special, it came out to $615 delivered.
I hope it works, it sure feels good to hike with a light rifle in my hands.

Looks good. Interested in seeing accuracy report
Finally able to try out the Sig with the IBI 20” barrel. At 100 yards I shot PPU 165gr. SP, PPU 165gr. SPBT and Winchester 180gr. power point.
Pretty happy so far!!

Can you share a link on where to make order?
