I second what others have said about the sawyer just keep it from freezing and it’s awesome. When I’m in cold temps with me I just keep it in a inner jacket or shirt pocket so my body warmth keeps it above freezing.

So far it seems like stuff to get unstuck is main issue. I will be truck camping with a heavy tent and will have buddy heater for mornings and right before bed. My plan is to hunt 2-4 miles from truck and move every day if need be. I have a lot of stuff already but not everything. Kinda need some puffy pants, gaiters, and good rain paints maybe but don’t know. Don’t have or plan on taking spotter/Tripod.

I always take my bino tripod to Colorado. But you should shoot any legal bull, so agree on no spotter.

I bought gaiters too when I started out in Colorado. Have never used them.

I am hunting 2nd rifle otc on a change of plans as well, first time. If you want to get in touch shoot me a PM. Is your vehicle 4wd or 2wd? I would definitely bring a shovel in either case, potentially a peice of plywood to give you more traction.
