Noticed that as well on FB. Looks pretty slick with the buckles on the inside so you have full access to the tubes.

Here's a few photos from the British Columbia trip.

Looks like an improved EMRII to me. New wings, pals matrix added to lower center, and a fold over "lid " with option to run a belt pouch instead of a full detachable lid.

Looks like they incorporated the reckoning strap system into the emr 2.

Can't wait for my EMR lll

The EMR ll has been my favorite pack.... but the zippers and compression straps on the EMR lll..... straight money!

Don't call it something G-A-Y Aron, it needs to be the EMR lll .....haha

The last thing I need is another bag, but that looks like the pack I've been waiting for. Any details Aron?

Ugh, where is Kifaru starting a trade-up program :) Was happy with my EMR II but this looks like it addresses all of the issues I had with mine.

Only question I have is how do you compress the wing pockets if they are empty?

Release date? Might be ever so tempted to give one a whirl in July on the Alaska packraft rondy

Any timeframe on release that anyone is aware of, my reckoning should be here in a couple weeks but I may send it back and wait and see what this bad boy looks like.

You just pull 1 or 2 of the straps around the wings and they will compress like the old one if you need that.

That's good on the size. No one wants to backcountry with me because all my friends are smart enough to kill their elk close to the road. So I end up packing a ton of stuff I'd be able to split with a buddy. Also for when I shoot another bear that EMR II will swallow most anything I'll find in Montana.
