I found this site last year while looking for info on packs and the like.

I am a new hunter, I started hunting last year when I drew a KY elk tag, I didn't successfully fill it, I tried but didn't really have much clue what I was doing, and the archery season was downright hot so they were quiet. This experience made me want to get into hunting more, so I call it a positive experience. The draw for me is to get out west and hunt in the backcountry, so I have work to do to be ready for that and gear to upgrade to make it worth while
