Hi everyone, long time lurker and finally joined. Like the title says, I'm an Iowa native. Grew up near Des Moines and always hunted in the southern portion of the state on my family's land (extremely spoiled haha). I'm 27 years young and have a loving wife (coming up on 4 years) and a 15 month old son. Since getting married I've primarily stuck to hunting public land near our home and have taken up saddle hunting for whitetails. I'm pretty much exclusively a bow only hunter. I have gone out West for elk, mule deer or antelope for the past 9 years and I'm counting down the days until I head to Nebraska for the first time with a buddy to chase mulies and antelope.
