Started hunting at age of seven, forty-nine years ago. Killed my first whitetail at eleven and have been hooked ever since. Bowhunt, pistol muzzleloader, rifle... love it all.
My wife gun hunts with me. We live near Truman Lake, MO. Passions are Native American artifact hunting, hunting ,fly fishing and guitar... and my wife, kids (married and older) and our dogs, of course! I dream of hunting out West, but have failed to chalk up the courage to do it as of yet. Did one Colorado bowhunt 20 years ago... that's it. Gotta get off my duff and start to live before it's too late!
Retire in three years, eleven months since the military won't have me past the age of sixty. Dread it... seems boring! Retirement plans should have a option that matches a hunting/fishing buddy to retire with! Lol.
