Been lurking around Rockslide for a few years - decided to come out of the shadows and participate. Started elk & mule deer hunting in Colorado & Wyoming a few years back and can’t get enough!

My buddy & I have 2 archery elk tags and a mule deer tag in Wyoming to fill this year. Leaving for the high country on 9/12.....come on Father Time move faster!

So far my mountain hunts have consisted of 3 Colorado elk tags and 1 Wyoming mule deer tag (all rifle hunts). Filled 1 elk tag back in 2016 - unit 49 and my mule deer tag last year in Wyoming.

Photos are of my 2016 bull, my 2019 mule deer, and my 2018 Kansas whitetail.

welcome. Got any of those 200” KS whitetail on the wall? Are you in muley country there?

The biggest whitetail I’ve shot is about 170”......but my buddy shot a 208” a few years back. There are a few giants around - but not many. Sadly no mule deer in this part of KS.
