Hello to everyone. As my forum name implies, I am a recently retired high school teacher and head football coach. Hunting whitetails back here in the mountains of NC has been my favorite pursuit with the little free time I had when I was still working. I always dreamed of doing some elk hunting when I retired. Well, the time has arrived. As I am beginning to make plans, it appears to me that this forum and its members could provide a wealth information. I certainly look forward to being a member and learning from the many experienced hunters on this platform.
