Here is an idea and curious to see what other members think. I'd be willing to pay some amount of money, say $50, plus shipping to handle one of these things. You could hit my card for the full amount and if I agreed to not mount it on on a scope, I could return it in original packaging. It would give me a chance to look through it in various light conditions, play with the turrets, check out the reticle and so on.
Say allow for 5 business days to pass and it has to be returned. Then someone else could use same open box demo for same thing. At some point you could sell it as unmounted for a discount. Any funny business, just keep the total amount that was put on the card.

May be a dumb idea, just would like to see one before dropping the total amount.

Excited for this scope. I've had good success in the past finding hot items available without pre-ordering. Not sure if I'll role the dice this time.

Doug,
Did your rep say anything about weight? What I saw was 28oz for each, but was hoping that wasn’t correct and the 2-20 came in lighter.

Would like to hear more about these? Travel, dials, glass comparisons? I think I want one but little cautious still. The 2.5-20× for my 300wsm would be very nice!!!

So are these new models glass same as ATACR ? Or are they new? I have a NXS, so am trying to see where these come out in comparisons? Obviously a bit lighter.

I'd really like to look through one to make sure the FFP reticle works at low power. Really, really like the idea of the 2.5-20.

I spoke to an engineer friend of mine glass is better than the nxs but not quite as good as the atacr enhanced.

He said the scope is solid and his guess was shipping in june

Would also like to see the 2.5-20, but that 35 power on a 40 moa base could be real nice on a big boomer over my nxs

Really curious how sensitive the parallax and eyebox is on these things. With a 8x erector and ultra short design, methinks some compromises had to be made. Reminds me of the March 3-24x52. Hopeful, but but will wait for user reviews :)

Was anybody able to handle these at the NRA show? Looks nice on paper, curious how they are in the real world. As leebr10 said above, length and 8x erector seems like it may make for a tight eyebox and paralax adjustment that many complain about on the March scopes.
