New phone help

Wife got me a new phone for Christmas, it’s iPhone I previously had an android. I noticed today went on hunting trip, took some pictures etc. and it saved the pictures in a group as Monongahela National Forest near greenbrier West Virginia etc. so I am assuming the pictures have metadata on them where people could save them and locate gps coordinates etc. how doI turn this off???

Settings > Location Services > Camera > Set "Allow Location Access" to Never.

A trick though is that you can take a screen grab of the pic and send that versus the real pic.

Another trick is that when you go to Photos and select the pic to send, it will show you a little Options > at the top. Hit that and you can remove the location metadata.
