New Piranta... Piranta Torch....

"Havalon Knives announces the new Piranta-Torch, an addition to its line of replaceable blade knives for hunting and fishing enthusiasts.

Piranta-Torch features the newly-designed #60A blade which is 20% thicker and stronger than the standard #60XT blade while still delivering the famous Havalon "crazy-sharp" surgical edge.

will these new blades work on the original piranta. I sure hope so.

Doubt it... I called Havalon about using the Baracuta Blades on the Piranta a while ago... I knew it wouldn't close with the 'cuta blade but just to have the option in the field and they said know that the groove on the Piranta is too small... I think the 60A blades are the same thickness...

It says the flash will except the 60xt and 22xt blades.

Oh nice! Thats pretty neat. Hard to improve on an already great knife. But they might do it
