New rangefinder

I need to upgrade my current rangefinder. I need something that will range reliably out to 1000yds +. I shoot steel out to 1000yds and game out to 600ish yds using a CDS turret. Do I go with something like a Vortex 4000 or is it worth getting something with a built in ballistic program?

Ditch the turret, get a rangefinder with ballistics and a wind meter and call her a day. Can probably find a good deal on a sig kilo 2400 abs since they're discontinuing them. Hell of a rangefinder.
