Yep I do reload so any/all are on the table from an ammo perspective. That 25-284 would be a slick little rig I reckon.

This is my current favorite rifle. Preferred barrel blanks prefit, 26in sporter #1, no brake needed. I dropped it into an alterra stock just because. Mine has settled in at 3010fps with the 135gr Berger’s and shoots extremely well. Plenty of retained velocity out to 1000 yards. Feeds beautifully and does everything I need without anything excessive…

I’m going to go against the grain here and say go for the 300WSM. Why get another gun that is either very similar or less than the capabilities you already have. Since you reload 30 cal bullets are in abundance and you can easily run anything from a 165 to a 200. I’ve got a sako 85 with a 21” barrel that I run a 200 gr eld-x at 2850 suppressed. All up it weighs about 9 1/2 lbs and it’s really reasonable to shoot. You could also run a lighter grain bullet in a lighter gun and probably get similar recoil. Mine is easily one of my favorite guns. Excellent elk medicine.

I'm in the tikka .223 1:8 camp, cheap and fun to shoot, mimic your primary rifle. Sportsmans has them in stock. I'd also argue the T1x is almost as fun to dial and shoot out to 250 yards.

A.308 and some 155 gr Scenars does great things.
After reading the "Death by Scenar" thread on 24HCF I'm pretty certain I'll either go .308 with the 155's or 6.5 with the 139. Seems like either combo is well vetted and I like combo of great BC and solid terminal performance.
