24 inch 9.4 twist 338

Buy the actions from a local guy.
What do we built for calibers ?
Throw out some ideas.

Moose

For the 30 Cal my vote would be for an 8 Twist 300 PRC for heavy bullets.

With that barrel, I would go 300 PRC given the length and twist. For the 338, I would go 33 Nosler.

.338- I’m fond of the .338-.375 Ruger (Aka .338 Bearcat/ Campfire). It makes my list of three wildcats I’d actually try.

.338 bear cat I think is the most efficient cartridge for Long Action.

30 Nosler shooting 215 bergers at around 2950-3050 with a good reamer design depending on what powder you want to run. Use a good brake, run ADG brass and it’ll shoot great.
