New Ruger Scout In the Works?

I was at my LGS looking at a Ruger gunsite scout in .308 (sold my old one years ago and regretted it) and the guy behind the counter said Ruger is updating their scout rifle.

Has anyone heard such rumblings?

What would you like to see on an updated Ruger Gunsite?

Color me skeptical. They haven't put much focus on anything with an M77 action in a couple years. But if they do, then cool! One of my favorite rifles is an 18" stainless model that I put in their synthetic stock. It's probably the most utilitarian rifle I own, and a pleasure to shoot and carry.
