Hey Everyone looking for options on a new scope for my 7mm Rem Mag. I'm running 168gr Berger's right at 3000 fps. Basically have this set up as a medium range rifle 0-600.
It's super hard to find much locally to actually look at because here in eastern deer country medium / premium optics are non existent.
I have been running a Leupold Vx3i 3.5x10x40 CDS and it's time for that scope to probably go live on my 6.5 creed varmint rifle.
Anyway, I read the recently reviewed Maven RS1 article. I've not seen them in person, but always hear good stuff.
My next option would be the SWFA 5-20x50 HD scope. I've had good luck with their stuff in the past however not used that particular one.
Night force was another on my short list.
Required things are usable reticle, I'd prefer everything to be in Mils, but MOA is ok to.
Consistent ability to dial and repeatable zero.
I'd like to keep the objective to 50 mm and a 30 mm tube.
FFP would be the bee's knees.
$1200 is where I want to be.
Any input is welcome.
