New to elk hunting...

I’m new to elk hunting, i put in for area 53 GMU in colorado, i have got drawn for 4th gun season for bull in area 53, i’m looking at maps & doing some research & looking at the west area in 53, wanted to best area places to camp/stay near western side of 53?

Honestly, if you can then I'd recommend going out this summer and scouting multiple potential camp sites (in case you get there and someone else is already set up) AND scouting for elk.

Pick your hunting area and plan on a day to drive around picking a site and setting up. The earlier you get there the better.
