I’m mostly curious about interchangeable eye pieces.
I just bought a used Pentax PF80 ED A with Pentax 20-60 which is a standard 1.25”
I’ve read many times the cool thing about this models(and probably others) is the eye piece is interchangeable.
My basic questions are, why is a fixed eye piece generally said to be better than a variable?
With a dizzying amount of 1.25” eye pieces, what do I need to know when looking for something different/better?
Super basic, I’m sure..but I appreciate the jump start into these style of optics.
