Hey guys, occasional lurker here from da U.P. of Michigan. I have taken a long hiatus from deer hunting as the season coincides with prime time Musky fishing. I’ve kept up with the gear, just haven't really had time to sit in the woods since I finished college in 2008, but my main fishing partner (my dad) is laid up with hip problems so I decided to give it a go hunting again.
Current archery rig is a Hoyt RX3 Ultra, 32” draw at 80 pounds. Also have been getting into traditional archery, have a DAS Dalaa and a Bear Grizzly.
For hunting rifles I’m running a Tikka 260 Rem, and Tikka Superlite 300 Win Mag (more of a western gun for when I decide to start heading out that way), and a Henry 45-70.
