Newbie from AR

A lot of my searches bring me to this website, so finally made an account. I just started hunting hard when I turned 30 last year, and I'm really enjoying it. I've seen so much cool stuff just from getting out in the big woods, and I just want to get good at what I do. I'd love to hunt elk and mulies and do the whole out of state thing one day, we will see what happens. Missed a 140'' 10 point on public Sunday, so thats whats going on in my world at the moment

I'm in the River Valley, and public land down here is great. I have a 120k acre tract of WMA across the road that I look at from my front porch. It's all unbroken forest and mountainous, or at least what passes for mountains around here. Its hard to pattern game on, but its full of black bears and whitetails so its a pretty fun area to hunt.

Welcome! I am up in the NW Corner of AR, so just north of you. I have hunted down there once. Those big woods can be intimidating.
