Those who have done NL Moose. Does the guide take care of all the tags, & paperwork ?

Should be all taken care of when you get there, if the outfitter has their stuff in order. All I had to do was sign a few pieces of paper, put my names on a couple tags for meat transfer and get my metal tags. It took more time figuring out how I wanted the moose to be cut up.

The only way to get a NL tag is through your outfitter. Should be one of the first things done when you get there, along with paying any balances due. Be aware that there are bull only and either sex tags. If you have a partner, it would be normal to get one of each. The tag can be transferred in the event the hunter with the either sex tag took a bull. Would leave the other hunter the ability to take take a cow if so desired.
