Nightforce 2.5-10x32 capped turret changed to zero stop suggestions

Hey guys I have a nightforce 2.5-10x32 capped turret model with IHR reticle. I am thinking about possible sending it in to get zero stop added. But I did read somewhere that some guys were just taking the cap off and dialing up or down. So first of all any one ever do this before, and what did it cost. I love the ihr reticle personally, but really need a way to dial if I ever have to make longer shots. Thanks for the advice in advance

I don’t think Nightforce is doing used scope work right now. I wanted a reticle swapped, and its a no go.

Yes. They work exactly the same.
