This is a new-in-box Nightforce SHV 4-14x56 scope with illuminated MOAR reticle, model C522. The 30mm main tube and 56mm objective lens offer incredible light transmission with edge-to-edge clarity you would expect from a Nightforce optic. The proprietary MOAR reticle is in the second focal plane (SFP) and illuminates with several brightness settings. Parallax adjustment from 25-infinity is also available on the left side knob. It measures just under 15" in length, and weight in at 27 oz. Retail for this C522 is $1128 when on sale, and I'm asking for $950 plus shipping (USPS Priority Mail from AK).20190618_052020.jpg20190618_052041.jpg

Hey Buckshot, yes the turrets are capped. The hunting caps are an added protection in the field, but the turret under the cap is "safe" without the cap if you prefer the quick adjustments when shooting. You can get custom ballistic turret tapes from Kenton Industries for $39.95, which you adhere to the exposed turret, and they're custom matched to your ammunition's ballistics. Pretty slick!

The elevation turret under the cap is marked in MOA, with each click changing .25 MOA. The attached photo shows the turret.

For what it's worth, i was also skeptical about large objective lenses, but i love the wide field of view and all the light they transmit. Now all my scopes are 50 to 56mm. As long as you choose the right mounts, i haven't had a problem with maintaining a good cheek weld even with 56mm bells.

Appreciate all the help. I have an ultra light rifle. Not sure how well this would fit. I’m fairly short so my face isn’t long. A cheek weld is critical. I’ll ponder on it some more.

This isn't the lightest scope out there, but not a brick either. I have one of these mounted on my Sako 75 Finnlight and it's a good lightweight rig, but you could find lighter. Swarovski scopes are likely the lightest options in this performance class, but not "built for battle" like this NF. Let me know if there's anything i can do to help!

I have another scope in this exact model but with the illuminated IHR reticle (C521), which I really prefer. I like how clean and clear the IHR design is, and I don't need all the extra data the MOAR offers. I wasn't planning on listing the IHR, but if that's the one you're looking for, PM me with an offer and maybe we can work something out. It's in excellent condition, no marks or scratches at all. I'm in Anchorage, so maybe we could even meet up!
