I have a pair of Nikon 8x40 original Monarch binoculars for sale I purchased new in the 90's. They are made in Japan and very comparable in clarity to the Nikon Monarch 7 8x30 I have. These are in excellent condition as I only carried them to a few college football games and various sporting events. They have sit on the shelf much more than they have ever been used. I just prefer the smaller compact binoculars for my uses. I am fairly new here but have been a member of the 24Hr. Campfire for a few years.
