Sold Nikon ED 60 Fieldscope with 24x wide DS eyepiece + Phoneskope adapter

I'm certain I'll regret this, but my ED50 gets about 90% of the use so this one is up for grabs.

Scope is in excellent condition. Razor sharp, bright and a huge field of view with this fixed 24x wide DS eyepiece. I have been using it to take photos and video with a phoneskope adapter, which I will include, along with the lens cap. All you need is the holder that fits your phone.

They don't make scopes like this anymore. Scope and eyepiece are made in Japan. Optics are superb.

There is one on Ebay right now, shipped from Japan for $549 plus $65 shipping, with no phoneskope adapter or stay-on case.

Or you can buy this one with the adapter and a stay on case for just $450 SPF . I'll even throw in the Arca-swiss adapter plate if you need one.

Do you know what this weighs? There doesn’t seem to be much weight info on the older models online.

3 lbs. 4 oz. on my scale with the stay-on cover and adapter on it. Probably 2.5 lbs. just bare scope and eyepiece. I could weigh it that way too if you want.

There is no plastic on this scope. These ED III models were the last ones made in Japan and are all metal.
