Nikon Monarch HG vs Swarovski EL 10x42

I bought a ( new ) set of Nikon Monarch 5 8x42. The seller shipped the binoculars in the case with the eyecups extended. The seller didn't put the case in a box or insulate them at all. Just put everything in a heavy envelope. Got them in and of course the eyecup was broken on the diopter side. Called Nikon , sent them in. 2 weeks later received them back, fully repaired and even sent me an upgraded neckstrap. My experience with Nikon was great. I couldn't have asked for more. Yes , all free of charge.

The older I get, the less patient (it's at zero now) I am with stupid and/or clueless dumbasses.

And yet, they almost always, somehow, make it through life.
