I hope this is appropriate to post here. We need all your support. This was a piece of state property that was mostly utilized for waterfowl hunting but it sets a bad president.

Support us and all hunters who enjoy access to NM state land by responding to this unilateral decision from the SLO.

Pretty ridiculous response

Thanks for the heads up.

In the final paragraph of her response she seems concede that her word isn't the final word on the matter when she states that the NMDGF has told her "no" and asks people to email the game commission to reconsider her SLO recommendations.

To your knowledge who has the final say on this?

She does. There we’re supposed to be open conversations between the public, game and fish and the SLO to possibly work out a resolution. She did not allow those conversations to take place and closed the property to hunting without any input. Citing public safety from “bullets”.
