NM Statewide Archery Javelina

I put in for an Archery tag so I could hunt with my son on
his youth Jav. tag and we both drew!! Love it when a plan comes together.
Will prolly drive out and carry the big tent and camp in comfort.
Wife said she might even go. Jan 1-15th I believe.
Any insight on this hunt would be appreciated.

I haven't hunted javelina in NM but glassing is key to spot and stalk javelinas. If your are driving all that way to New Mexico for a state wide jav tag, I suggest you look at the west side of the state. Arizona archery OTC deer will be open that time as well as archery javelina which you will have to draw but they are all 100 percent draw odds. Might as well have a pocket full of tags if you are going to be there for two weeks.
