have a couple good bears on camera (5) between 2 baits. ALL of them are at night.

One has came in at 5:23am and another on another bait came in about 5:30am.

Any weird tricks to get them to come in during light?

-been baiting them for 3 weeks
-come in about 4/5 night straight than a day off from the baits

Thanks

I just started baiting last year and had the same issues. Fixed it this year by relocating bait to a area of dense cover. Your top picture looks reallly open, they won’t come in during daylight if it’s too open. I only had to move my bait by 200 yds and it solved my issues. Worth a shot.

Been there many times. I don't have an answer other than very hard to get them to come in. Only thing I can say is after some time, they seem to come in during the day but that could be weeks and the season could close.

I've had some pretty remote baits in open areas and had bears come in. I've had some baits in very remote thick areas and they still come in late. Crap shoot really. If I had to guess, there could be a couple things going on. If there are other baits around, bears will do this. If they've had bad experience at baits, they will also come in late. If you have time, and think your bait location is off a bit, move it. A couple hundred yards is all that is needed sometimes. That's what nice about having an established bait. You know if the location is good based on past experience and not some random pressured boars that know the game.

Fawn bleat call and fawn deke too, if legal where you are.

I would like to know if you use it and if it works. We can't hunt them here, but I've had them come to it.
