Nomad 2 Bladder Pack Modification

I have heard that some people have figured out various ways to mod the Nomad 2 so that you can more easily hold a a water bladder one of the back two rear pouches. I just shoved one in on my trip yesterday and it worked OK but I wonder if there is a way to get it to sit upright in the pocket better?

No personal experience with that mod but i would imagine the best thing to do would be to just sew a small loop of grosgrain or paracord or whatever up at the top. Most bladders have a hook. Thats what i do in the packs i build.

2014 Kifaru Lock and Load pouch between the wings of an original Nomad on a Duplex frame. I have a three liter Source bladder in the pouch, works great. Kifaru does not make them any longer but something similar would suffice.

An Exo Mountain gear Slurpy Stalker works well . First Spear (they make all of the Hill People Gear products) also makes hydration pouch that will attach to the molle webbing .
