Hi Team,
I'm new to the compound world, but have shot trad for approx ten years. I shoot lefty (left eye dominant, right handed though).
I have a 33" V3X with 28.5 DL and set at 63#
My current arrows are 29.3" .340 spine GT Expedition Hunters, with standard inserts and 125gn up front.
I want some more weight up front, so I am thinking I can cut them back to 28" with 50gn inserts and the 125gn points. Do you think this arrow set up would be in the ball park?

Also, my arrows are impacting to the right once I get past 20m, and are about a foot right at 60m. Thoughts?

Thanks a bunch!!

P.s. I live in rural Australia, so no bow shops nearby unfortunately

qSpine/OT2Go says your spine is near optimal for both arrow setups.

Bow inputs: 336 fps IBO, 63# DW, 28.5" DL, 33" ATA, 6.5" BH, 85% LO

Regarding the right impact issue, I would suggest first checking your sight's second axis then adjusting windage (arrows hitting right of point of aim = move pin(s) to the right).

So it turns out the second axis was off by a fair way. I used the door jamb method to check it and adjust, and it sits much better now, I just have to adjust my sights back to where the arrows are impacting now.

Thanks for the help!!
