Would suspect they perform much like an Accubond. Because they are made for longer range, they probably have a lower expansion threshold than a regular Accubond, or similar to the Accubond LR.

I had several boxes of Tipstrike 170 in .300 wm that I bought last season, somewhere out west. No clue where I picked them up, I didn't know much about the company and just assumed it was "shitty ammo". Turned out to consistently group the best and shoot among the flattest in both a Christensen Mesa and Seekins Havak Element. Waiting patiently for more to come on the market, but I did buy 10 boxes of the 165 Bondstrike in 7mm Rem Mag from NormaShooting.com a few days back.

Has the BC on the box matched up with whatever ballistics calculator you are using?

I'm not that sophisticated, I just shoot and record data. I also haven't taken game with it, although I'm pretty sure anything hog or deer (or bigger( I hit with a .300 win is gonna drop.

The BC of the 300 WSM 180 Bondstrike ammo seems, extremely, optimistic at .615 G1

I hear it shoots well so that's always a good thing but I don't know about that .615 G1 BC that sounds a little to good to be true. That would put those 180's the same BC as a Berger 200gr Hybrid Target.

Those are what we have been shooting at the range, and seemed like a stretch. To 600 though they have been ateast close enough for easy hits.

Looks like the 300 WSM is still in stock. I ordered some. It's really hard to find bonded 180 grain loads for anything close to $50. My model 70 groups their .270 whitetail load at about MOA, and the quality of the brass appears to be high. Thanks for starting this thread there's not much out there about this load.

I shot my 7mm today. Tikka. 5 shots at 100 over the chronograph. First four measured ~1/2". Last shot (left) opened it up to 1". It could've been me or not. It is hard for me to shoot this magnum as well as my smaller cartridges.

Velocity:
2740
2713
2725
2724
2715

Very consistent velocity. Better than my hand loads, but very slow for a 24" barrel. It was about 25°f but 200fps slower than the box says? And ~200fps slower than my 162 eld-x handloads...

I input that velocity in my hornady app and it suggested 6.3moa for 400 yards. Held 6moa and shot 4 shots. This group measures ~4.5"

I am definitely happy with the accuracy and consistent velocity. But disappointed how slow it is.

It seems silly but I was really impressed with the packaging. These sleeves snap into two 5-round halves that fit well in a pocket. And the cartridges are protected and clipped in securely at the extractor groove and above the base.

Shot my 7mm this past weekend with the bond strikes. They grouped well enough but velocity seemed inconsistent. 2856, 2837, 2884, 2811, 2861, & 2853. 24” barrel.

I wouldn't give those numbers a second glance for factory ammo. Call it 2850 and see how they group at 300-500yds.
I wanna know why his went 100fps faster than mine... I've got a 24.5" barrel...

I lube the inside of my barrel for more velocity and lube my mag for quicker reloads.

Sorry man idk. Not very knowledgable on that stuff so I couldn’t even venture to guess.
