I'd like to see Bryan Litz get some of these and measure them out and see what BC he comes up with but I think they actually may be fairly close to their advertised BC
Yep
I think these will land somewhere close to the 143 eldx (.292 G7)
I'll shoot them this weekend hopefully and have a guesstimate at the bc.

My estimation with a 20" barrel is that I'll get 2,900fps with their 300WSM. Review attached below of a test in Sweden, trued the B.C. to be .530, not .615. If I hit 2,900 with a G1 of .530 that's a 900 yard Elk round.

Tikka's have slow barrels but those are some big velocity discrepancies. Are those chronoe'd numbers, or velocity-adjusted truing numbers you guys are using?

Has anyone trued the BC on this cartridge and pulled a good number? Specifically the 180gr .30cal.

Sorry I'm a little late to this conversation, but I have a Tikka T3x in 300wsm with stock barrel chopped to 20" and sporting a Thunderbeast Ultra 7. I'm still breaking in the barrel (only about 20 rounds in so far), but it's averaging 2,910 fps with Norma Bondstrikes and shooting 1 MOA. I would say your velocity estimations are very close.

I bought 500 of the bullets. Hoping they fly well out of my 6.5 PRC. I’ll begin testing these in the coming weeks.

Outstanding, I compared your G7=.271 to the G1=.530 that I pulled from that test article and they are exactly the same drop/wind to 1,200. Tiny velocity disparity between them. I think we’ve got real numbers for this bullet.

Man, goes to show how different barrels have much different results. 20” barrel on my 300WSM and I got 2,900 with the Norma Bondstrike. And very good accuracy.
I just ordered a few boxes to try in my 300wsm I'm building with a 20" barrel. I'm loving those numbers and look forward to what accuracy I get.

Shot the Bondstrike loaded ammo out of my 300 RUM today. It shot quite well.

Have more on order to test velocity, and shoot out to longer range

Has anyone nailed down a real world BC for the 180gr bondstrike? The .615 G1 on the box seems optimistic.

I shot the 180 out of a new to me Tikka 300 wsm. I only shot at 100 to zero then took it to 400 just to check my best guess numbers. The Labradar was dead so I guessed at velocity. For the money, it shoots well and if you reload the brass makes it a deal. I think you could buy this and just go kill stuff.

Pic is at 100

That post was for the 143gr 6.5mm bullet. Not the .30cal 180gr. Unless I am reading it wrong.
Good catch, there has to be a disparity somewhere. The G1.530 BC is for the 180 grain 30 Cal round. The G7 was pulled from the other gentleman.
