Decided I'm going to hop back into the upland game. Being in CO now, there's better opportunity than the whitetail farm I manage. The small population that existed back home was pretty well taken out by coyotes a few years back. I've been researching the WIA program we have in CO and found a few spots to check out but I was wondering if anyone knows if it's worth trying closer? Knocking on doors east of Wellington and such? Not looking to drive to Kansas for a day of upland. Thanks for any advice!

deerfarmer, pretty slim pickings for public upland game opportunities along the Front Range. If you drive east say 2 hours or so, you may fair better. I see alot of small game while deer hunting the plains. Feel free to PM.
