Nosler Model 21 - Leupold VX-6 best base/ring combo.

Hello all,

I have a Nosler Model 21 300Win Mag on order and will be mounting a Leupold VX-6 44 or 50 mm.

Has anyone mounted the VX-6 in a 44mm or 50mm on this rifle and found a good base/ring combo for low mounting? Trying to avoid an hour or two at the shop trying options!

What mounts did you end up using? I bought a M21 280ai and a vx6 44mm but haven’t gotten around setting it up yet.

With the included rifle bases I was hoping to go with Leupold backcountry low rings but don’t think there will be enough clearance for the bolt.

Talley lightweight rings, I will never use Leupold rings again after they put ringmarks on my Zeiss Victory…
