I wear a size 9/9.5 boot and have decent sized calves (not chicken legs but not cankles either lol) and these are about an 1-1.5 inches of slack. They fit me fine especially once I get pants on but are a bit too big for my fiancée so trying to find her a size small.

I also wear a 9.5-10 with somewhat slim calves. The mediums work, but I think a small would work better. However, if the mediums work for you, these gaiters are awesome. I love mine.

Actually after wearing them this season, medium is too big. Ended up wearing the smalls I got for my fiancée cause she decided it was too cold for her to hunt lmao
