Old backpacker here from Indiana

Greetings from the Hoosier state. I am an old backpacker. I have hunted small game in years past and spent time hunting deer but never pulled the trigger on one. I shoot handguns regularly and hope to handgun hunt for deer in the Hoosier National Forest this fall. Thanks for allowing me to join your forum.

I drive from Indy down to Morgan Monroe quite a bit finding and hunting deer in those hardwoods are quit a bit different than field edges in Ohio where I’m from. I’m sure it’s similar is Hoosier. Best of luck to you
