Have you used the On X Hunt app and is it worth it? How does it compare to physical scouting of properties?

Use it for reference for sure, scout from the desk, then get boots on the ground.

Each hunt app has pro and cons

Won’t really kno what those pro and cons are till ya use one for an extended time - then you can see what others are like via buddies or the app free trials (or forum reviews like this).

Phone version of app is also different than website version. So use both.

Google earth also useful

I like OnX and have used for years. 3D seems somewhat better on GoGunt app

OnX is truly amazing! It helps with e-scouting, but more importantly, it gives you real time information on where you are and/or how to get somewhere. I’ve used actual GPS’, but OnX on my phone has been way easier and is a lot more user friendly.

Very beneficial app to have in your arsenal. When you pair the wind direction feature along with the waypoint locations you have marked, it makes choosing what stand to hunt very easy.
