Oregon elk hunt

I am trying to plan a roosevelt elk hunt in Oregon. I will be traveling from Colorado to Oregon to hunt with my daughter and her boyfriend. So if anyone has any kind of input please pm me. They don't have the money to come out here so I am gonna go out there next year. Maybe the elk hunt or just a Blacktailed deer hunt. Thanks. Can't wait to be in the woods again with my daughter.

What are on the coast will you be. Where ever you end up get ready for a super tough hunt. I love hunting Rosies but its nothing like hunting Rockies. Its dang hard hunting and thick as hell in many/most places.

I know! Vine Maple, ferns and just thick stuff. I have been deer hunting with my brother back there but not on the coast. I can only imagine it being worse!

I've spring bear hunted the SW unit in Oregon many times and it's no picnic. Thick is an understatement.

But I've also killed 3 bears in 3 years there and have seen a pile of elk. Tough hunt, but doable.
