Other options than Rino?

Headed back to Montana for our yearly trip. Looking to see if there are any other options for means of communication amongst the party in the mountain and their location. Not too concerned about GPS because I use my cell phone with OnX. So are there any other options for a walkie talkie/location device than a rino?

Could also look at the inReach mini as an option. Could use your phone to text provided you have visibility to the sky, but the month long subscription is pricy

Following.

I hunt solo most of the time so i dont need it but chucked my Rino pretty quick since it absolutely sucked as a 2 way comm.

Note on the Inreach, make sure you have the appropriate plan when texting with one. the plan i have doesnt have many texts included.
