Tried out a new base layer (mid weight) or second layer over a short sleeve merino shirt. Initial impressions during outdoor hike and stadium bleachers session. Well built, seams are solid, has both thumb hole in the sleeve to wear over palm and a thumb loop for putting on another layer. Breathes well, tight fit hood (which I prefer) and the 1/2 zip feature allows 'heat dump' very quickly. Dries quickly and fits with an athletic cut (personal preference). Only issue I have, like with other 1/2 zips, tends to 'ride up' when you raise your hands over your head; the longer cut helps, but kinda bugs me. Overall, really like this. It will replace my Sitka heavyweight for backpack hunts and other longer range hikes. I'm 5'9, 170 and the med fits me well.
