Outdoorsmans pistol grip head vs mini pan head

I own a outdoorsmans reg pan head but for those days when I'm not bringing my spotter and looking to cut weight I was looking for some input. Thanks

Pistol grip is all I use for swaro 15x56 binos and swaro 20x60 spotter. I own reg panhead from them as well but rarely use, pistol grip is very handy. I guess if you were doing grid glassing the panner would come in handy.

I tried them all and prefer the standard pan head to the micro or pistol grip. I do grid glass quite a bit.

Yep.......think it is just a personal preference thing, can't go wrong with any of the choices IMO.
